CWM/TWRP Recovery

This page is dedicated to Galaxy Note 4 CWM/TWRP recovery.

By installing CWM or TWRP recovery, you will be able to easily root and install custom ROMs on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4.  Please note that installing a custom recovery such as CWM or TWRP will set your KNOX to 0x01, which VOIDS your WARRANTY.

If you do not have insurance on your phone (separately from your warranty), you may want to reconsider either getting insurance before rooting or proceed at your own risk.  Most U.S. carriers usually do not check for KNOX when you return phone for warranty unless you specifically tell them.  So, if returning your phone to the store, please make sure to just unroot/unbrick with stock firmware and don’t tell them you’ve rooted your phone before.
